Why should a Retail chain choose outsourcing IT infrastructure management for its points of sale?

  • Having a single point of contact and responsibility (not just SPOC, but SPOCR – Single Point of Contact and Responsibility) to which refer for any criticality related to hardware and software infrastructure management in the points of sale, in order to guarantee business process continuity.
  • Relying on a multilingual team, who knows Retail dynamics and users’ operating modes, besides hardware devices, software applications and connectivity services in use.
  • Collaborating with a dedicated Service Manager, able to work side by side with the customer Company by means of proactive actions and continuous management and request fulfilment process analysis with a view to quality process optimization.

These are the key elements emerging from our daily contact with our Retail customers: besides Geox, Benetton, OVS, Moncler and L’Oréal, since last summer we are flanking the Gruppo Oberalp for complete

IT infrastructure management of their 40 Salewa points of sale, those being European leaders in mountain and climbing equipment, and also Under Armour, activewear American brand, just arrived in Italy. We are currently working in close contact with the various figures involved, from IT to Store Managers, in view of the new Milan store opening, planned for mid-September.
