Aton continues to grow and strengthen its digital innovation ecosystem for businesses.
Our group, made up of Blue Mobility (IT solutions for logistics and SME sales networks) e Aton AllSpark Iberica (a Spanish joint venture between Aton and Allspark, specialising in fashion retail), is expanding further with the addition of Teksmar, an Umbrian company led by Firmano Proietti Righi.
At the beginning of the year, we acquired a 30% stake in Teksmar, a business that for over twenty years has focused on IT and digital solutions for retail commercial processes. The company offers a web-based software platform designed to support operational management, organisational efficiency and technological enablement for retail and wholesale enterprises.

This alliance is built around a clear objective: to accelerate business growth for retail companies by offering an advanced technological ecosystem based on cloud, artificial intelligence and deep expertise in the processes that define the distribution sector.
The result? Greater efficiency, quality and sustainability and therefore profitability across sales processes, both in physical stores and online.
Digitalising major retailers requires investment, scale and skilled resources capable of competing with large international groups. In this context, Italian IT companies — most of which are SMEs — must join forces and work in harmony to offer retailers the very best of their solutions: integrated, innovative and ready to use.
With our entry into Teksmar, our group has taken another strategic step towards achieving the target of €50 million in revenue by 2027. The agreement includes the appointment of an Aton representative to Teksmar’s Board of Directors and a call option that will allow us to increase our shareholding by 2028, enabling us to consolidate its results in our accounts.
The combination of our expertise and solutions enables us to offer, through the .one omnichannel platform, a complete ecosystem for consumer goods companies across both retail (B2C) and wholesale (B2B) channels. This spans food distribution as well as a wide range of product categories such as body & house care, household goods, clothing, sporting goods, DIY and electronics. We support the entire value chain of the order-to-cash cycle: from the centralisation of commercial and administrative processes to sales management, from loyalty management to couponing, from e-commerce to the digitalisation of the supply chain.
Thanks to this synergy, we can provide retailers with innovative tools for product lifecycle management, automated replenishment, goods traceability and the optimisation of in-store distribution.
In addition, our AI-driven approach enhances several key processes, including document management, with advanced functions for invoice reconciliation, order entry and user support. These capabilities make it possible to process images, audio files and messages coming from unstructured channels such as WhatsApp, e-mail and Excel.
We have also long been investing in an R&D programme dedicated to AI (artificial intelligence) and AR (augmented reality), with a specialised team that will now work in close collaboration with Teksmar.
Founded in 1988, Aton has reached a turning point. Teksmar’s arrival marks a significant milestone in our growth strategy, underpinned by an industrial plan designed to strengthen our position in the market, both in Italy and abroad. Our long-term vision also includes transforming the company into a public company and pursuing a stock market listing, ensuring the resources and financial structure needed for further sustainable, long-term growth.

Firmano Proietti Righi, CEO of Teksmar, comments on this new chapter as follows:
“Since the 1980s we have been developing solutions for the retail sector, and in 2005 we founded Teksmar with the aim of supporting distribution through integrated process management. Today, more than a thousand stores use our WebNet platform. Joining the Aton group will enable us to broaden our expertise, invest even more in research and development, and further enhance the range of solutions we offer our clients.”
The synergy between Aton and Teksmar will generate concrete benefits for retailers:
Our commitment is to create the “Italian champion of commercial process digitalisation”, with steady international expansion beginning in Europe.
The future of retail lies in technology — and we are ready to lead the way.
