Distribution of LPG, technical gases, and water: a journey along the supply chain

Over the years Aton had the opportunity to provide digital solutions to companies in the Energy world specialized in the distribution of LPG, Oil & Gas, water and technical gases that needed to:

• streamline the product distribution and billing process, thanks to reliable applications that can be used by mobile devices with fleets of vehicles (trucks) that transport and deliver the product, in bulk or in cylinders, at customer sites
• completely eliminate mistakes in the transcription of information on unloading and the organisation of deliveries, by providing drivers with applications that avoid frequent rework, waste and excess costs that affect all companies that do not use applications integrated with the headquarters
• map the consumption of the product, both for distribution networks and for the tanks of private users, providing companies with the opportunity to manage basic information to optimize transport, reduce costs and improve customer service; with a consequent increase in margins
• trace assets, such as LPG cylinders, technical gases and tanks, using RFID technology, which allows a massive recognition of all moving goods in the various geographies; correctly valuing the balance sheet of assets throughout their life cycle

Such life-cycle includes all the activity for the management of the assets scattered in the territory that often are granted on loan and are owned by the company that supplies the product.
