It should be noted that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body as defined by Regulation (EC) No. 765/2008, nor a national, European, or international standardisation body as defined by Regulation (EU) No. 1025/2012. The BIA criteria are independent from and not equivalent to harmonised standards such as those developed under ISO or other standardisation bodies, and they are not ratified by public institutions at national or European level.

About the certification
The “Certified B Corporation” designation is a trademark licensed by B Lab, a private non-profit organisation, to companies like ours that have successfully completed the B Impact Assessment (BIA) and meet B Lab’s standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
