{"id":75553,"date":"2023-11-24T16:59:10","date_gmt":"2023-11-24T15:59:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aton.com\/lpg-week-2023\/"},"modified":"2025-09-18T15:12:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T13:12:07","slug":"lpg-week-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/lpg-week-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"LPG WEEK 2023: the Energy team heads to Rome"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Together with our colleagues from the Energy &amp; Industrial SBU, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/andrew-pigozzo-7b98397\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andrew<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/egidio-chiericoni-57234b5a\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Egidio<\/a>, we took part in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lpgweek.com\/rome-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LPG Week 2023<\/a>, which has just wrapped up in Rome: a global event for the <strong>LPG industry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For the fifth time, the leading players of the<strong> World LPG Forum<\/strong> and the <strong>European Liquid Gas Congress<\/strong> came together, bringing their two annual events into one single conference and exhibition that involved:<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-76684 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Banner-articoli-sito1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"576\" height=\"115\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The event took place in the stunning \u201c<em>La Nuvola<\/em>\u201d venue designed by Fuksas, which welcomed exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. This year\u2019s theme was \u2018<strong>Just Energy<\/strong>\u2019, a call to the challenge of <strong>ensuring energy that is<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>clean<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>accessible<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>sustainable<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During <strong>LPG Week 2023<\/strong>, industry and political leaders discussed and explored <strong>the potential of the LPG and renewable liquid gas markets<\/strong>, which increasingly aim to become an <strong>accessible and low-carbon energy system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors had the opportunity to discover the latest products and the most innovative services available to the supply chain. What we observed among the participating companies was <strong>a strong need to recalibrate their hardware offering<\/strong>, moving increasingly <strong>towards digitalisation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In conversations with the leading players in the sector, a number of <strong>key themes<\/strong> emerged:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>simplification and usability;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>integration of legacy devices<\/strong>, heterogeneous in brand and technology;<\/li>\n<li><strong>management of activities and work orders<\/strong>, supported by structured IT tools;<\/li>\n<li><strong>big data analysis.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To meet these needs, today we can rely on <strong>solutions<\/strong> for <a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/atons-solutions-for-the-lpg-market\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">collecting and monitoring telemetry data<\/a>, for digitalising <a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/onsales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">distribution<\/a> and managing <a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/solution\/attempted-sale-digital-delivery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">direct sales<\/a>, for <a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/rfid-an-ally-to-medicinal-gas-cylinder-traceability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tracing<\/a> cylinders and tanks with RFID, and for managing maintenance technicians.<\/p>\n<p>LPG Week 2023 was, therefore, a remarkable opportunity to share experiences, discover new market trends and build new relationships.
