Our lives are always full of activities to complete, remember, or jot down before the day ends.<\/p>\n<p>But what are they and how do we organise them? How do we note down the activities to be done?<\/p>\n<p>Tasks are assignments we record in various ways: on scraps of paper, in a notebook, on a napkin at the end of lunch \u2013 each of us with our own order and on whatever medium is at hand.<\/p>\n<p>Very often, these methods cause unnecessary paper waste in our daily lives and, at the same time, we risk forgetting an important activity\u2026 perhaps because we accidentally threw that napkin in the bin.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, we <strong>collect<\/strong> an indescribable amount of <strong>data across different systems<\/strong>: <em>Word, Excel, notes, txt files,<\/em> or uploaded to <em>Google Drive<\/em> \u2013 or we simply forget that the file converted into a PDF is in a colleague\u2019s folder, which has been accidentally deleted.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-48724 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Task_Manager-Aton.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"644\" height=\"429\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Task_Manager-Aton.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/aton.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Task_Manager-Aton-1536x1024.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 644px) 100vw, 644px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Task management made simple with a task manager<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>At Aton, we started from these very principles to design a new module for the <a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/onretail-the-solution-for-mass-market-retailers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #d00000;\">.<\/span>onRetail<\/strong> store management application<\/a>. This module not only <strong>digitalises<\/strong> all those everyday operations we carry out on paper, but also brings everything together in <strong>a single tool<\/strong>, enabling different company stakeholders to consult the collected data.<\/p>\n<p>I like presenting this module because, even from an initial discussion with various organisations, <strong>multiple usage ideas<\/strong> emerge.
