This choice was driven by the need to manage a wide range of specific processes that could not be adequately supported by ready-made external solutions.<\/p>\n<p>However, with the advancement of technology and the evolution of integration practices, we are witnessing a significant <strong>shift<\/strong> in this trend.<\/p>\n<p>Companies are faced with some <strong>crucial questions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>do they have the <strong>resources<\/strong> and <strong>capability<\/strong> to develop and maintain complex applications?<\/li>\n<li>are they able to meet the <strong>customisation<\/strong> requests coming from their stores?<\/li>\n<li>can they rely on the technical expertise to create an <strong>intuitive and engaging<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>user interface<\/strong>?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are challenges we can tackle together with companies to help them not only <strong>increase their operational efficiency and support their growth,<\/strong> but also <strong>reduce<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>their environmental impact<\/strong> and <strong>improve the quality<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>of life of their employees,<\/strong> enabling them to work well together.<\/p>\n<p>This means being able to share information quickly and <strong>break down information silos<\/strong> within companies, especially when it comes to stores.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Task management in the retail world<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This is why one of the key topics we address when meeting companies, especially in the retail world, is <strong>task management<\/strong> \u2013 a need that is becoming increasingly common in the business landscape. Based precisely on user needs and market experiences, we have developed a feature integrated into our <strong>store<\/strong> <strong>management platform<\/strong>, accessible via mobile and web.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-72520 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Mockup-task.jpg\" alt=\"Mockup task - Aton\" width=\"410\" height=\"729\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Mockup-task.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/aton.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Mockup-task-864x1536.jpg 864w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 410px) 100vw, 410px\" \/>The <a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/task-manager-managing-retail-activities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>task manager<\/strong><\/a> is now a fundamental tool for companies to <strong>communicate their strategy<\/strong> and<strong> coordinate activities across stores<\/strong>. Every business has its own <strong>specific needs<\/strong>, which may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>collecting data in the aisles<\/li>\n<li>monitoring the cleanliness status of stores<\/li>\n<li>providing an overview of compliance with HACCP and safety regulations<\/li>\n<li>entering reports from external suppliers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I will stop here, as there are indeed countless examples. The <strong>challenge<\/strong> lies in <strong>integrating these customised features into a standard application<\/strong>.<br \/>\nHere are the key components of our solution:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>a configuration interface for creating data collection templates<\/strong>, which can be customised according to the specific needs of each team or business department<\/li>\n<li><strong>an intuitive mobile application<\/strong> for carrying out tasks, collecting data (including through <a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/augmented-reality-mobile-technologies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">augmented reality<\/a>) and integrable with other systems<\/li>\n<li>a <strong>dashboard<\/strong> for monitoring performance and <a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/business-intelligence-data-analysis-co\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">analysing the collected data<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><div class=\"custom_button\"><a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/oneretail\/\" class=\"dropbtn mx-auto _slim\" title=\"Discover .one Retail\" target=\"\" ><div class=\"dropbtn_content\">Discover .one Retail<\/div><div class=\"dropbtn_drop\"><i class=\"sn_sprite _button_drop \"><svg viewBox=\"0 0 147 64\"><use xlink:href=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/aton\/assets\/images\/icons.svg#button-drop\" \/><\/svg><\/i><\/div><div class=\"dropbtn_spacer\"><\/div><\/a><\/div><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>The benefits of task management<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This approach enables us to <strong>involve all stakeholders,<\/strong> including store operators, suppliers, head office staff and external inspection companies. Our goal is to provide operators with a practical tool, similar to a diary, allowing them to manage tasks efficiently, either through automatic assignment or by receiving them from colleagues, other departments or head office, and to track their progress.<\/p>\n<p>This translates into several <strong>benefits<\/strong> that help measure an organisation\u2019s health index:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>improved employee well-being<\/strong>, as they can manage their work in a more organised way, reducing stress<\/li>\n<li><strong>increased productivity<\/strong>, thanks to time optimisation and the simplification of operations<\/li>\n<li><strong>identification of areas for improvement<\/strong>, through the analysis of resources used and the types of activities that occupy people the most<\/li>\n<li><strong>reduced paper usage<\/strong> and, consequently, a lower environmental impact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the next article, we will explore another essential tool for <strong>collaboration between companies<\/strong>, <strong>suppliers<\/strong> and<strong> stores<\/strong>: <strong>ticket management<\/strong>.
