The use of the term &#8216;precious&#8217; is not accidental, especially in relation to the period we are currently living, characterised by strong concerns about Europe&#8217;s energy supply.<\/p>\n<p>LPG is a <strong>safe and practical energy source with a low ecological impact<\/strong>. In fact, the low emissions of particulate matter and other pollutants released when it burns make it one of the cleanest energy sources*. For this reason, it is more important than ever to take all measures to <strong>optimise the use and distribution<\/strong> of this resource.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike methane, LPG requires ad-hoc <strong>distribution logistics solutions<\/strong> to reach our end user, Roberto. To make this process efficient, Aton offers global <strong>telemetry<\/strong> solutions, <strong>GPS trackers<\/strong> and supports Lucia&#8217;s distribution company with a <a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/solutions-and-sectors\/service-desk\/\"><strong>multilingual support service<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Tank monitoring and control\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Through <span style=\"color: #d00000;\">.<\/span><strong>onMeter<\/strong>, our Gathering Platfom for the <strong>monitoring and remote control of LPG tanks<\/strong>, Lucia, of the distribution company is able to perform:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>the control<\/strong> of the LPG tank <strong>inventory<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>monitoring<\/strong> of daily <strong>consumption<\/strong> and cost management<\/li>\n<li><strong>verification<\/strong> of tank <strong>diagnostic data<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>the <strong>management of work orders<\/strong> for the installation or maintenance of telemetry devices at plants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Hardware independence\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>.onMeter<\/strong>\u202fis\u202f<em>hardware independent<\/em>, i.e. it can support <strong>any telemetry device<\/strong> (level gauges or smart meters) using the following transmission technologies: SMS and GSM (legacy), or SigFox, LTE Cat-M1, NB-IoT and micro satellites.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to this, Lucia is able to view the entire installed base in a <strong>single portal<\/strong>, without having to switch from one portal to another based on the manufacturer or generation of the device. The aggregation of the collected data will also be homogeneous and easy to extract and consult.<\/p>\n<p>The information collected will make it possible to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>draw up <strong>consumption forecasts<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>prevent or report any faults <\/strong>or tampering<\/li>\n<li><strong>remotely manage <\/strong>the smart meter valve<\/li>\n<li><strong>know the residual gas level <\/strong>in the tank updated daily<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Cloud applications\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Lucia consults <strong><span style=\"color: #d00000;\">.<\/span>onMeter<\/strong> directly from the web as it is a <strong>100% Cloud platform<\/strong>. However, her fellow installers have a <strong>mobile application<\/strong> (Android and iOS) with which they can also independently carry out these checks directly in the field, without cumbersome equipment or the need to call in.
