And these differences must be taken into account by who realizes the <strong>sales applications<\/strong> (on the IT side) but also by who chooses them on behalf of their sellers or end-customers.<\/p>\n<p>If the <strong>seller<\/strong> is our interlocutor, we must make a certain amount of <strong>useful information<\/strong>\u00a0available to him, to help him perform his work:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>updated data on the profile of the customer<\/strong> who is in front of him, from his financial situation to his purchase habits, for example exemplifying his last order, or those items most usually ordered;<\/li>\n<li><strong>updated data on products and price dynamics<\/strong>, making it possible for the Sales rep to suggest that customers choose items that maximize margins;<\/li>\n<li><strong>updated information on items in offer<\/strong>, like new products, differences against competitors\u2019 products, promotions, etc. to confer value to their customers, create and maintain a privileged relationship and loyalize them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Read also this article: <a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/a-sales-force-automation-tool-that-works-where-needed-in-front-of-the-customer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A Sales Tool That Works Where Needed &#8211; in Front of the Customer<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If our interlocutor should be the <strong>end-customer<\/strong> \u2013 the buyer \u2013 instead, the model changes, since it implies a different way of interacting. An e-commerce application, either on B2C or B2B, must be planned to <strong>keep the customer in the forefront<\/strong>, as he is \u201calone\u201d while purchasing and should therefore be guided to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>a \u201cfrictionless\u201d experience<\/strong>: from access (easy and quick login), to catalogue consultation, item selection, choice of payment mode,\u2026 up to the final checkout;<\/li>\n<li>certain products, promotions, personalized vouchers according to<strong> customized logics and conditions<\/strong>, kept in the foreground against others, to make the shopping experience unique;<\/li>\n<li>the creation of <strong>customer loyalty<\/strong>, always presenting new ideas and products, also in the virtual stores, and according to the customer\u2019s preferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These differences imply a diverse construction of the application, also <strong>from the UX (User Experience) side<\/strong>: if on the one hand the key role is entrusted to the abundance of the information available and to the rapidity of data entry, especially in sectors like<a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/digital-payments-b2b-food-service-sales-solutions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> food distribution for the Ho.Re.Ca. world<\/a>, on the other hand it is paramount to carefully guide users through the various acquisition phases, accurately studying their experience in order to make it increasingly satisfying.<\/p>\n<p>This is why we believe that <a href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/user-centered-design-the-winning-move-software-application-development\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">User Centreed Design is the winning move in software application development<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two entities characterize the selling process: on the one side the one that sells, on the other the one that purchases.
