You should first know your customer!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Getting to know consumers\u2019 habits, tastes, motivations and purchase behaviour has indeed become an essential element in modern sales.<\/p>\n<p>Nowadays, digital sales tools are a great help: <a title=\"Prospecting\" href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/customers-prospects-and-competitors-within-maps-reach\/\">profiling customers<\/a> and being able to compare and classify them with other similar ones (segmentation) allows us to predict their behaviour in front of a certain type of offer and therefore structure specific sales policies, all the way to <a title=\"Sales Platform\" href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/will-future-bring-customized-prices-for-our-customers-it-is-already-reality\/\">customized assortments and pricing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We are talking about<b> on-the-field customer information collection applications,<\/b> which can be used by the salesperson (<a title=\"CRM Mobile\" href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/why-on-the-move-sales-need-mobile-crm\/\">Mobile CRM<\/a>), but also by a <a title=\"Instore specialist\" href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/know-better-to-sell-better-store-accounting-digitalization\/\">specialized person (in-store specialist)<\/a>.<br \/>\nIn <b>digital purchase <\/b>modes (e-commerce and <a title=\"B2B commerce\" href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/has-your-company-got-b2b-commerce\/\">B2B &amp; B2C mobile commerce<\/a><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">)<\/span> the process can instead be fed in a retroactive (and automatic) way, thanks to the \u201cpre-order\u201d functionality, by which it is possible to re-order those items most usually bought.<br \/>\nIn other spheres, for example in wholesale channel dynamics, <b>replenishment <\/b>automatic processes are further optimized by means of <b><a title=\"Sell out Kering Eyewear\" href=\"https:\/\/aton.com\/en\/case-studies\/kering-eyewear\/\">sell-in and sell-out data collection services<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>It is important to be aware that no-one interacts with a single <b>touchpoint (brand-customer contact point) <\/b>before buying.
